‘Poznańskie Studia Teologiczne’ (‘Poznan Theological Study’) is a journal published by the Faculty of Theology, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. It has been published since 1972 (initially as a year-book and now as a six-monthly) in printed (original version) and electronic forms.
Its basic task is to present the scientific achievements and research carried out by scientists associated with the theological center in Poznań and centers in Greater Poland. It also serves to exchange theological thoughts and deepen reflection on past and current events in the history of the Church and Christianity in Poland and in the world.
The scope of presented articles covers all fields of theological sciences (biblical exegesis, patristic, dogmatic, fundamental and moral theology, canon law) and auxiliary sciences (philosophy, social sciences, psychology). The journal also publishes texts of an interdisciplinary nature, especially theological and connected with other sciences.
The magazine publishes texts only in English or in Polish with English translation. In addition to the original scientific texts, the journal accepts for publication reviews of books that were published no earlier than two years before sending the review.
Submission / acceptance for printing and publication of scientific and review texts in the journal is free.
The journal ‘Poznańskie Studia Teologiczne’ (‘Poznan Theological Study’) was entered in the Register of Dailies and Journals of the District Court in Poznań under RPR 3348.
